Responsibilities

This position is primarily responsible for construction and project managing the deployment of new fiber-based telecommunications networks to MDU and SMB locations in one or more geographical locations. This individual will be collaborating on estimating, design and engineering and directly overseeing the construction and implementation, including managing the costs and schedule of the overall project(s).


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Reviewing and collaborating on comprehensive Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) plans for Multi Dwelling and Small Business Units projects that cover the following: phased delivery plan; resource requirements; project costs, project schedule.
  • Responsible for in-scope, schedule, budget and delivery. Establish the appropriate reporting and metrics to measure, monitor performance against plan, reporting regular status updates to customers, executives and key strategic stakeholders.
  • Leading the end-to-end solution deployment from the network architecture, process and system solutions, construction methodologies, material selection, acquisition and handling, field installation activities, project acceptance activities, training requirements, operational hand-over activities, etc.
  • Responsible for organizational specific health and safety policies and procedures, as well as the safe working behaviors of our vendors and suppliers.
  • Align external resources from a shared or dedicated pool of contractors, material providers and individuals.
  • Building a partnership model, as the team may include company employees from various outside departments as well as outside contractors and engineering firms and must establish and drive clear accountability for all team members and create an environment that enables high performance from the team.
  • On-time delivery of projects to scope, budget, and other constraints.

SALARY

  • $40.00 - $48.00 /hr with flexibility depending on candidate experience
