Travel Nurse RN - Oncology in Coos Bay, OR

**License:** Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse
**Certifications:**
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Chemo/Biotherapy card and competency validation required or to be obtained within one year
- National certification in oncology nursing or intravenous therapy preferred
**Must-Have:**
- Proficient in English with effective communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing patient and unit needs
- Effective teaching skills
- Ability to respond effectively to patient crisis/emergency situations
- Proficiency in computer use and electronic medical record systems
**Job Description:**
- Apply the nursing process to the care of patients within the RN scope of practice as defined by the State Board of Nursing.
- Teach patients and significant others about their conditions and care.
- Document patient care accurately and comprehensively in the medical record.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall care of the patient effectively.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance at the assigned job location.
