Travel Nurse RN - ER/Trauma in Melrose, MN

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse
**Job Specialty:** Emergency Room (ER) with Float to Medical-Surgical (Med Surg)
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Alternating Day and Night Shift (3x12-Hour, 07:00 - 19:30; 19:00 - 07:30)
**Guaranteed Hours:** Contracted Hours
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience and 1 year of Med Surg experience required
**License:** Minnesota state license required (can be pending); Saint Benedicts MN license in-hand required
**Certifications:** Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
**Must-Have:**
- Experience in a general Emergency Department setting
- Combined Adult/Pediatric experience
- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Flexibility to float within scope to Med Surg as needed
**Job Description:**
- Provide care in a critical access facility with a total of 89 staffed beds
- Work a block schedule based on the unit's needs, with the requirement to work approximately 6 weekends per 13-week contract
- No on-call duties are required
- Day shift nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4; night shift ratio is 1:6
- First-time travel nurses are accepted
- Must have a plan to complete Livescan fingerprinting in Minnesota as required
- Required to fulfill holiday work obligations as needed
- Finalized request for time off is needed upon submission; restrictions apply
- Must comply with vaccination requirements, with medical or religious exemptions considered

- Orientation is 14 non-billable hours.
