You’re constantly evolving, so shouldn’t your opportunities be, too?The OpportunityThe Finance Analyst's core responsibilities include providing management reporting, financial planning, pricing support, and analytical decision support to the Corporate Finance Business Unit and Ally Corporate Reporting. The position also includes exposure to various responsibilities such as regulatory reporting, risk-related reporting, stress testing, allowance reporting, funding matters, and certain other operational support. The position also works alongside business unit leadership on projects focused on growing /expanding the business, including review/due diligence on potential acquisitions, new products/industries, etc.At this time, Ally will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The Work ItselfManage and improve the process and models for the planning and analysis of various revenue, expense and balance sheet items.Develop new or enhanced financial models to support changing business needs.Partner with business leaders/budget owners in the bottoms-up development of key assumptions and financial performance metrics.Interpret financial and operational data and effectively illustrate/communicate links to business performance.Create and update management review materials (business plan and forecast update decks).Drive audit compliance within the areas for which you are responsible.Contribute to ad hoc analytical projects as necessary both within and beyond your primary area of focus.Work collaboratively with Finance, Risk, Treasury and other partners to ensure enterprise objectives are met.The Skills You Bring3+ years previous work experience in financial analysis or related field requiredAdvanced knowledge of Excel requiredExperience with PowerBI strongly preferredBachelor's Degree required preferably in Accounting/FinanceProven track record of driving for results with minimal ongoing directionProven track record of influencing decisions with great analytics and financial modelsAttention to detail balanced with knowing the right altitude necessary to deliver on requirementsEnergetic and inquisitive, quick learner, takes initiativeAbility to work in a complex matrix organization and to operate in ambiguityAbility to communicate effectively, both written and verbal#LI-HybridHow We'll Have Your Back*Ally's compensation program offers market-competitive base pay and pay-for-performance incentives (bonuses) based on achieving personal and company goals.
