Salary range: $128,276.00 to $160,345.00

The Principle Operations Analyst will be responsible for performing detailed performance analysis on wind farm assets to identify opportunities to optimize power production and reliability for offshore wind projects. This position will support Avangrid Renewables’ Offshore Wind Operations and Maintenance (O&M) department.
Key Responsibilities
This important role within the Performance Budget and Analysis Team will:
- Evaluate, monitor, and measure wind farm and wind turbine health and performance
- Support the director of Asset Management and O&M VP with preparing operational performance reports
- Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize operational strategies and mitigate risks
- Build and manage yearly production and availability budgets
- Support and enhance Diagnostic Tool (DOMINA G), which is used to notify users of deviations from expected turbine performance
- Interface with global counterparts to benchmark and support performance analysis across Iberdrola’s global portfolio of offshore wind projects
- Support the advancement of operational modelling tools for new projects under different phases of development
- Monitor and validate contractual availability for wind farms in operation
- Support the Contracts team in negotiating contractual availability terms for new projects
- Participate in innovative projects relating to the implementation and use of business intelligence tools
Required Qualifications
The essential qualifications for the candidate are:
- Degree level qualification
- Proficiency with Python and SQL
- Experience evaluating wind farm and wind turbine power performance
- Capable of managing and interpreting large complex data sets related to wind operations (wind speed, power output, turbine events/alarms…)
- Strong technical acumen with ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and apply them effectively
- Comfortable working with many stakeholders (Commercial Operations, Engineering, Contracts, IT) and effectively communicating technical work
- Good ability to manage own performance, with a significant focus on delivery and an ability to balance a varied and challenging workload, whilst producing high quality results in demanding timeframes
- IT literate with the ability to operate MS Office systems and other IT based project management software.
- Flexible to travel regularly to attend meetings and work at different project sites in a number of countries thought northern Europe and USA, particularly Germany, France, Spain and England.

Preferred Qualifications
Additionally the preferred skills/qualifications are:
- In depth knowledge of windfarm control systems
- Experience in operations analysis for large engineering projects
- Knowledge of marine engineering and vessels
- Experience working in a multinational organization
