This company is a 2021 award-winning community development company. They are one of the leading multi-family/residential real estate developers and property management companies in Boston. The company is currently managing and owns approximately 19,000 apartments including affordable housing, market-rate housing, and mixed-income housing.

They are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager who will be responsible for the portfolio of commercial properties, owned by various Funds and Joint Ventures, and meeting lender, tax, and investor requirements.

Senior Accounting Manager Responsibilities

• Review monthly work papers, bank reconciliations, cash transfers, and mortgage payments prepared by property accountants
• Monitor compliance with debt covenants and review lender reporting including timely distribution of audited reports to Lenders
• Responsible for Mortgage payments
• Manage and review Loan Compliance
• Review 3rd party property accounting for consistency, accuracy, and proper accounting for rent rolls and lease maintenance

Senior Accounting Manager Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• 5 years of property accounting experience, with the majority in commercial real estate
• Proficiency with financial software systems applications and proficiency with Microsoft Windows software programs, MRI experience a plus
