The Director of Sales is a multi-faceted position responsible for managing a diverse sales team, nurturing and developing key customer relationships, and delivering annual commercial targets through a clear sales strategy. This role goes beyond sales management and represents an opportunity for the candidate to grow into the leader of the wellness division,building a team and driving the brand into its next evolution.

  • Sales Team Leadership: Lead, empower, and motivate the Sales Team to execute and deliver volume, share, profit, and productivity targets within LEEF markets and potential new expansion markets.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop robust trimester/annual/multi-year strategic sales plans to achieve targets, including hiring and supervision of the salesforce, development of sales budgets, forecasting, customer promotions, and product introduction.
  • Market Insights and Trends: Understand the market dynamics and industry-specific trends to identify new paths for sales growth and sustainable business results.
  • Sales Team Development: Champion the hiring, growth, development, and coaching of an inclusive and effective sales team, fostering a culture grounded in accountability,teamwork, and delivering results.
  • Key Account Prioritization: Develop strategies and brand priorities for inclusion in annual business planning meetings for key accounts and distributor partners.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing, Production, and Finance to drive product innovation and execution.
  • Sales Performance Tracking: Meet with the sales team on a weekly basis to track actual against budgets and identify areas of improvement.
  • Key Customer Relationships: Be the key point of contact with key B2B, Retail, and
  • Distributor partners, nurturing profitable relationships.
  • Sales Strategies and Adjustments: Oversee and evaluate market insights to adjust sales strategies to meet changing dynamics and competitive conditions.
  • Sales Presentations: Develop and deliver consistent sales presentations to key customers (Distributors, retailers, etc.).
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage annual sales and sales-related marketing budgets, ensuring P&L alignment and maintaining budget and margins across all sales channels.
  • Leadership Support: Provide support, leadership, and promote conformity to all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Business Development: Provide input and support to the LEEF leadership team in the development of joint ventures, affiliations, and partnership arrangements.
  • Revenue Growth: Oversee, drive, and scale revenue across all marketing and sales funnels across product lines, identifying opportunities for revenue growth through sales and marketing activities.
  • Go To Market Strategies: Develop and implement successful Go To Market strategies for new products and enhancements of existing product lines.
  • Previous successful Sales and Marketing experience required.
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience.
  • Strong leadership, self-motivation, and team-building skills.
  • Understanding of market trends, demand generators, supply/demand, and economic factors affecting sales.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate details and prioritize work on a daily and weekly basis
