Sr. Account Manager

Overview:

Propel is looking for a Sr. Account Manager to join their Commercial Lines team in Tacoma or Seattle! The ideal candidate has experience working a Commercial Insurance Real Estate book.

The Senior Account Manager’s primary role is to ensure customer satisfaction and client retention by delivering timely, consistent, and quality service for a large/complex Real Estate book of business.

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as primary client service contact for multiple accounts. Primary account management responsibilities include:
1. Prepare quality submissions to carriers on behalf of client or prospect
2. Review and analyze quotations received from carriers
3. Prepare professional and accurate proposals for presentation to clients
4. Prepare professional and accurate summaries for existing clients
5. Review endorsements for accuracy
6. Process premium audits and assist client in event of a dispute
7. Prepare certificates of insurance
8. Perform contract review with respect to insurance requirements
9. Prepare and deliver timely binders and invoices upon binding of coverage
10. Secure premium financing when needed
11. Review newly issued policies for accuracy before delivery to clients
2. Use company systems and procedures to maintain and prioritize workload, including work to be handled by Account Assistant
3. Lead monthly renewal meetings with producer and other Account Managers on the team
4. Maintain certifications and complete assigned training goals
5. Maintain current knowledge of underwriting requirements and authority outlined by each carrier
6. Coaching and mentorship of others
7. Lead/perform special projects with the advice guidance from Team Manager or Client Engagement Director
8. Identify and convert on account rounding and cross-sell opportunities

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years industry experience including at least 3 years at the Account Manager level
2. Applicable state P&C Agents License
3. Industry related certifications expected
4. College degree preferred, or equivalent experience

Salary Range: $95K-105K DOE
