Global Onboarding Data Architects Responsibilities:
The Global Onboarding Data Architects will be part of the Global Onboarding, Core Platform Transformation group within the MSAW organization. Core Platform Transformation is responsible for the engagement, onboarding and day to day service management of corporate clients and their equity administration plan terms and associated service offerings. The candidate will work cross-functionally towards a goal of successful end-to-end delivery of onboarding projects bringing a willingness to do what it takes to get onboarding projects done in a timely and accurate manner. The candidate will build exceptional relationships with both immediate and cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment focusing on all aspects of client readiness and support for clients as they move through the full lifecycle of onboarding activities onto the MSAW equity administration platforms.
This position is responsible for the successful onboarding of several concurrent projects, including the onboarding of Stock Plan Administration and Employee Broker Services for corporate clients in a timely and high-quality fashion.
This highly visible position involves interacting with a variety of individuals at all levels within the organization. Candidate must be driven and a self-starter, be organized and detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. This position requires the ability to understand complex software and business concepts and to quickly absorb the business details.
The Global Onboarding Data Architect:
- Completes a variety of onboarding projects in a timely and high-quality fashion and in a manner that meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Based on defined requirements and a project plan, accurately configures MSAW equity administration software to reflect the needs of clients’ equity compensation plans and related plan data.
- Maintains and utilizes the project workflow and checklists to manage project deliverables.
- Prepares client data, including but not limited to: Review and extract of historical data, Formatting of data to ensure completeness and accuracy, Creation of grammar formats and uploading data to the platform, Comparison of client data to platform output to ensure data aligns and balances.
- Coordinate with Onshore and Offshore stakeholders on project details and technical queries.
- Ability to manage, mentor an offshore team and provide oversight and task management.
- Serves as a trusted subject matter expert to position best-practices with internal stakeholders.
- Stays current with new products and enhancements, and their integration into application and operations.
- Builds strong relationships with software developers and other technical experts to facilitate requests for advanced platform configuration, and additional development of the platform when appropriate.
- Works closely with cross-functional technical and process teams to resolve system and configuration issues.
- Performs configuration reviews, inclusive of end-to-end testing, and updates configuration status when appropriate.
- Analyzes existing processes and tools, with the goal of identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensures quality control of all developed and modified solutions.
- Ensures that internal and client-facing onboarding-related documentation is complete and current.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree or diploma in the Data Management, Business, Finance, Computer, Sciences, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- Minimum of three years’ experience managing software and/or onboarding projects requiring coordination with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience in supporting and managing an onsite, offshore model.
- Shareworks, Equity Edge Online knowledge, preferred.
- Experienced working with data migration, or the management and manipulation of large amounts of data that at times may be ambiguous.
- Basic understanding of equity and employee benefit plans, preferred.
- CEP certification preferred.
- A strong, broad technical background is required. Must have a solid understanding of system concepts and operational feasibility within existing systems.
- Exposure to, or experience with, agile methodologies and environments.
- Excellent planning and organizing skills. Can accurately scope out length and difficulty of tasks, sets objectives and goals, adjusts for problems and measures performance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and high attention-to-detail.
- Able to learn new skills quickly; Self-motivated for continuous learning.
- Sets a high standard of accountability and dependability.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and able to effectively manage themselves.
- Proven success working in highly collaborative, team-centric environments.
- Proven success at delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Proven track record in successfully handling multiple projects at one time. Ability to multi-task and reprioritize activities with little supervision.
- Strong communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and functions for data manipulation is strongly desired.
