Top Requirements:
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of industrial electrical experience (Ask candidates specifically**)
- Designing, building, and analyzing electrical-based projects
- Experience with 480 V 3 Phase
- Professional working experience reading electrical and mechanical blueprints.
Plusses:
- Experience with troubleshooting PLCs (specifically *Allen Bradley)
- Associates Degree/College Education
- Professional working experience with plumbing, welding, and hydraulics
Daily Responsibilities:
Insight Global is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the team at a large food and beverage service company. This maintenance technician will provide upkeep and repair for all of the production and facility equipment in our center to ensure or improve production efficiency. Responsibilities include basic preventative maintenance duties, assisting with facility improvement and basic repairs (including floors, walls, ceilings), new equipment installation, basic electrical and mechanical repairs, and scheduling maintenance projects. Additional responsibilities include safely operating a forklift and manual/electric pallet jacks, and reading electrical and mechanical blueprints. It can expected that this maintenance technician will have previous professional working experience working on electrical-based projects and have a strong electrical knowledge. The ideal candidate will also have experience troubleshooting PLC's, reading the prints, and working with basic motors.
