For a Leading Food Manufacturing Firm

• $90,000-$110,000 + Bonus

Summary:

The Sanitation Manager will report directly to the Quality & Production teams- and is responsible for ensuring food safety, area cleanliness, managing cleaning chemical inventory ensuring the upmost sanitation efficiency. Looking for candidates with experience in food sanitation, chemical handling and food safety. This position will be in conjunction with a QA director monitoring sanitation standard operating position (SSOPs).

The ideal Sanitation Manager will have the following skill set:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years' experience in a Sanitation/Quality environment
• Food or beverage manufacturing environment required
• Knowledge of food safety systems
• PCQI and HACCP- certified, previous experience with CIP systems
• Superior leadership abilities- communication, collaboration, organization
• Bilingual- Spanish is a plus

The Sanitation Manager will have the following responsibilities:

• Managing annual sanitation plan, budgets- tracking critical metrics ensuring safety
• Identify ways to improve company's health and safety programs
• Collaborate with Quality, Production and Safety teams to ensure alignment
• Utilize CIP
• Implement training measures that meet compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ensure the plant is cleaned daily and production continuously stays on time
• Audit and report non-compliance to take corrective action
• Lead regular sanitation meetings on the Operations team
