About the role
This role is for an early product leadership position on the team at Hyper Online. We're looking for an experienced product manager who has a background in monetizing interactive entertainment products through exceptional consumer experiences, storytelling, and merchandise.
You will help define the connective tissue of avatars across the greater internet.
You will be joining a small team focused on a fast-growing product.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally with experience in the monetization of interactive entertainment products.
Hyper is currently a small team of ~6 people and is fully remote, with a few members located in California. California is preferred, but we are open to candidates from anywhere.
About Hyper
Hyper is building tomorrow's Disney by putting motion capture and AI-powered avatar storytelling tools into everyone's hands. Avatar content (also known as VTubing) has become a multi-billion-view-per-month phenomenon on platforms like Twitch and YouTube.
This evolution has empowered a new group of people to tell stories and present themselves online while protecting their real-life identities. However, VTubing can be expensive and complicated, requiring a PC, custom models, and specialized hardware. Hyper (YCW21) is an avatar social network (currently available on iOS) that simplifies the process, allowing users to create avatar content without the need for high-end equipment. Just build an avatar, shoot, and use our tools to start telling your story right from your phone.
We are a Seed stage startup that has recently closed our latest round of funding (more details coming soon). Our app has consistently ranked in the top 100 on the iOS Social charts over the past year, helping hundreds of thousands of creators build avatars and create content.
