About Nash
Nash (YC S21) makes it easy for businesses to offer same-day delivery. We do this by building applications on top of delivery APIs (like Doordash, Uber, and 30 more fleets) that enable business-specific workflows. Delivery is getting commoditized by companies like Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash, and Nash is building the application layer on top of the delivery APIs to enable businesses to offer delivery to their customers.
Nash was founded in 2021 by a team from Palantir and MIT, and has currently raised from top investors like Y-Combinator and a16z to build the world’s best local delivery platform.
About the Role
As our first dedicated Partnerships Lead, you will lead negotiations with Nash's largest global business and delivery partners. You are passionate about the power of Nash's platform enabling customers to build their businesses through optimized, local delivery that doesn’t squeeze their margins. You will help identify new areas of potential growth and develop the most promising, as well as manage a portfolio of existing strategic partners. You’ll work in close collaboration with technical, operations, and customer-facing teams across the company.
You are a business development professional, able to participate in business-level and revenue-focused conversations with C-level executives at publicly traded companies. You enjoy diving into financial models and mapping out P&L implications for potential deal structures. You manage a complex, multi-party sales process in a highly consultative manner. You naturally gravitate towards using data and insights to build consensus and influence client decisions. As a builder, you like to experiment and can successfully operate in ambiguity to develop our business in new ways.
Responsibilities
- Lead negotiations and new product partnerships that have a significant impact on the company's bottom line
- Serve as an industry thought leader in last-mile delivery in order to drive merchant success leveraging Nash's ongoing product and technology developments

- Reach and exceed individual quota while contributing to overall team and business goals
- Exhibit executive presence and confidence in presenting Nash to C-suite executives
- Partner with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, technical teams, customer success) to structure and execute a comprehensive deal process: develop deal strategy, synthesize data, lead analysis, define the overall business approach, and get buy-in on your proposed partnerships
- Model, present, and defend P&L implications for multiple deal structures for the partner
Requirements
- 8+ years of business development and sales experience, preferably a mix of startup and larger enterprise roles
- Experience working with commercial agreements, including structuring and negotiating agreements outside of standard sales contracts
- Experience with C-level partnership negotiations
