Uber is looking for a Data Scientist in Marketing to support their Global Delivery Marketing teams. This role focuses on A/B testing, creating dashboards, and deriving insights to optimize marketing efforts. The team thrives on collaboration and prioritization to meet strategic goals.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Global Delivery Marketing teams on campaign analyses, A/B testing, experiment design, and KPI measurement.
- Design business analysis, maintain dashboards, and ensure reliable performance measurement against KPIs, projections, and historical data.
- Perform root cause analysis to inform business decisions.
- Analyze and optimize the performance and ROI of marketing channels for acquisition and engagement.
- Contribute to long-term marketing strategies, considering immediate and future implications.
This role comes with the following benefits:
- Base salary range of $165,000 to $183,000 annually.
- Eligibility to participate in Uber's bonus program.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of experience with SQL databases.
- Proficiency in data visualization and report creation using tools like Tableau, Excel, or Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
You would benefit from having:
- Expertise with SQL databases such as Presto, Vertica, Redshift, or Hadoop.
- Familiarity with statistics, regression analysis, and causal analysis.
- Experience working with imperfect data.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or another scripting language.
