Overview of Position

We are seeking a Deployment Manager, WiFi & Networking to join our technology team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and remote support of advanced WiFi and networking solutions. As the Deployment Manager, WiFi & Networking, you will work closely with field operations and project management teams to ensure seamless deployment, troubleshooting, and monitoring of networking projects. Your role will be key to delivering high-performance network systems while meeting project goals on time and within budget, ensuring customer satisfaction.

What you’ll own

  • Review the Statement of Work (SOW) prepared by the engineering team and collaborate with Field Ops for execution.
  • Oversee the success of WiFi and networking project scopes, ensuring efficient and accurate completion.
  • Design, plan, and execute a comprehensive action plan for network deployment, managing timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with other Deployment Managers on WiFi and networking solutions across multiple projects.
  • Set daily milestones based on the SOW and deliver proactive updates to the Project Manager.
  • Prepare the FUSE workspace for WiFi deployment, ensuring readiness for the installation phase.
  • Partner with Field Ops to update FUSE deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct daily check-ins with Field Ops to address challenges and provide guidance.
  • Provide remote technical support for on-site technicians during WiFi network installations.
  • Deliver daily updates to the Project Manager and address any need for change orders.
  • Maintain project notes and update the CRM with deployment status and progress.
  • Act as the first point of contact for technical escalations and support needs related to WiFi and networking.
  • Provide feedback to engineering teams to improve networking solutions and services.
  • Perform quality audits on installations to ensure 100% compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Experience and skills you’ll have

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
  • Resourceful and adept at solving technology-related problems.
  • Experience with WiFi and Networking systems, including:
    • Wireless Access Points
    • Switches and Routers
    • VLAN and Subnet Management
    • ISP and Internet Circuit Integration
    • Low Voltage Cabling (Preferred)
    • Network Security (Preferred)
  • Understanding of network design and implementation in large-scale environments such as hotels, apartments, or commercial properties.
