Job Summary:
Acquisition Professionals, LLC (AP) is looking for an experienced ISO Quality Manager to join our dedicated team and ensure that our quality management systems are in compliance with ISO standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and process improvement in the federal contractor space.


As an ISO Quality Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our ISO quality management department, conducting internal audits, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that our processes meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your role will also involve training staff on quality management practices, preparing for external audits, and staying up to date with the latest ISO standards and industry best practices.


The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. The ISO Quality Manager is responsible for maintaining Acquisition Professionals company's ISO program and ensuring quality standards are met. This role will provide oversight of the requirements for the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) for AP’s business model. The ISO Quality Manager will ensure the ISO 9001 QMS demonstrates its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and statutory & regulatory requirements. NOTE: This is a Hybrid, Part-Time (20 hours per week minimum) position. You will be required to work 2 days per week in the Company Corporate offices, located in Alexandria, Virginia.


Responsibilities:

  1. Maintaining ISO standards, leading ISO audits, and chairing internal and external audits.
  2. Designing and implementing quality training programs when applicable.
  3. Planning, conducting, and monitoring materials and products.
  4. Investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
  5. Collecting and compiling statistical quality data.
  6. Developing quality policies.
  7. Promoting continuous improvement.
  8. Ensuring compliance with company policies, quality specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  9. Developing and implementing ISO quality management processes.
  10. Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
  11. Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
  12. Training staff on quality management practices.
  13. Preparing for and managing external audits.
  14. Staying up to date with the latest ISO standards and industry best practices.
  15. Collaborating with various departments to ensure process compliance.
  16. Monitoring and reporting on key quality metrics and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
  17. Developing and maintaining quality documentation and records.
  18. Ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
  19. Facilitating root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
  20. Communicating quality objectives and performance to senior management.
  21. Developing and delivering quality training programs.
  22. Managing non-conformances and implementing corrective actions.
  23. Maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
  24. Developing and implementing quality policies and procedures.

Required Education/Certifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in quality management or related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the quality management field or equivalent experience.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
  4. Certification in ISO quality management (preferred).

Required Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. In-depth experience in the application of the ISO 9000 series Quality Management and auditing.
  2. Demonstrated mastery of quality tools and processes.
  3. Proficiency in Excel and other analytical software.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in leading problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  5. Proven ability to perform and train others in quality measurement.
  6. Experience conducting internal and external audits.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  8. Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  9. Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements related to quality management.
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  11. Must be a US Citizen.

Personal Qualities:

  1. Strong project management skills a plus.
  2. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  3. Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  4. Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  5. Ability to develop and deliver quality training programs.
  6. Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving.
  7. Knowledge of industry best practices in quality management.
