Director of Residential Services
Local agency seeking a Residential Services Director to provide oversight of residential programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position provides supervision to residential staff to ensure appropriate and meaningful services are provided for individuals supported. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting routine inspections.
- Ensuring adequate staffing schedules.
- Coaching staff through training and development.
- Completing performance reviews.
- Assisting in developing services for individuals supported.
- Supporting the intake process.
- Coordinating with Case Management regarding the completion of medical appointments.
- Following up on GER reports.
- Serving as a point of contact for families and guardians.
- Coordinating and scheduling NJISP meetings.
- Overseeing the administration of site budgets.
- Monitoring the completion of program documentation.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field required. Minimum four (4) years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings.
2. Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity, with experience in mental health and behavioral supports.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
