What will you do?

The Senior Financial Analyst is integral in supporting the sales organization's financial operations and strategic decision-making processes. The Analyst will assist in driving the financial planning, reporting, and analysis efforts, and contribute to the achievement of financial and operational excellence.

Primary Accountabilities:

Operational Planning & Forecasting

  1. Assist in developing the annual operating plan (AOP) and quarterly forecasts, focusing on the Sales department's needs.
  2. Support the maintenance and analysis of financial models and forecasts, ensuring they reflect updated sales strategies and market conditions.
  3. Contribute to the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports for the Sales organization, providing insights into variances and trends.
  4. Aid in the financial evaluation of sales performance, initiatives, and strategic investments.
  5. Collaborate with the Sales and FP&A Operations teams to enhance financial accuracy and ensure alignment with KORE’s overall strategic objectives.
  6. Participate in the financial review of new product launches and sales campaigns, assessing profitability and ROI.

Business Partnership, Reporting, and Controllership

  1. Provide analytical support for the sales forecasting process, helping set targets and effectively align resources.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Delivery, Marketing, and Operations, to provide financial insights that support strategic decisions.
  3. Assist in the management and optimization of sales budgeting and resource allocation.
  4. Support the Sr. Manager in conducting detailed, regular reviews of business performance, highlighting opportunities and risks.
  5. Lead the completion of insightful, data-driven financial analysis/business cases and recommendations on commercial finance opportunities (Deal Desk and New Product Introduction ROI) with a critical eye on KORE’s profitability goals.
  6. Prepare insightful, analytical reports to drive business decisions in sales meetings and reviews.
  7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline and enhance financial processes and reporting systems.

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in an analytic field of study plus a business approach; Finance, Accounting, Math, Statistics, Economics or other relevant fields.
  2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, planning, and forecasting, preferably within a sales or similar commercial environment.
  3. Analytical problem solver with a passion for using data to solve business problems.
  4. Strong engagement and change management skills to communicate effectively across all levels of diverse teams.
  5. Demonstrated experience improving processes, including the ability to innovate and simplify both financial and operational processes.
  6. Proven ability to multi-task, problem-solve and prioritize without compromising details to accuracy or work deadlines.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  1. Pursuing or completed a Professional Accounting or Finance designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, CFA, other).
  2. Experience with visualization and query tools like Power Query, Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, or similar tools.
  3. Working knowledge of NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, & Salesforce.
  4. Understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP).
