Akkodis is seeking a Program/Release Manager for our contract position with a client located in Plano, TX/ Chicago, IL, Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Banking & financial services industry and a strong Release Train Engineer.
Position: Program/Release Manager
Location: Plano, TX/ Chicago, IL
Duration: 12 + Months Contract
Pay Range: $60 -$65/hour
Job Description:
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering defined deliverables with usually required engagement from multiple teams, such as a project or BAU items. Key responsibilities include communicating the release objective, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing end-to-end visibility to the health of the deliverables. This role ensures execution and delivery meet the client's expectations in terms of quality and timelines. They facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery.

Understand release/deployment components. Understand risks and can ally controls necessary to mitigate. Facilitate team planning ceremonies against release milestones. Ability to answer team Agile/waterfall framework questions. Ability to understand the big picture and connect all details.
