Pay Range

$89,670 - $111,324 Annually for the H03.2 level
$107,550 - $133,524 Annually for the H03.3 level

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Job Description

We have an opening for aRecruiter to join our Talent Acquisition Team. You will be a strategic partner who is passionate about our mission and hiring top talent while also ensuring a strong candidate and hiring manager experience. Our ideal team member will be collaborative and consultative, with the proven ability to build strong partnerships in support of a variety of operational and technical customer hiring needs.

This position offers a hybrid schedule, blending in-person and virtual presence. You will have the flexibility to work from home multiple days per week.

You will

  • Have responsibility for full cycle recruiting ownership for assigned customers; including job posting creation, ATS pool screening & assessment, ad hoc talent sourcing via creative channels, and driving job offer processes to successful completion while maintaining a positive experience for all involved parties.
  • Provide customer consultation to define, train, and reinforce consistent recruiting best practices.
  • Conduct training sessions and information workshops on a variety of recruitment topics.
  • Track, analyze, and report on recruiting related KPIs and metrics to inform the business and to drive recruitment strategies.
  • Cultivate positive internal and external relationships, driving for results via implementation of recruiting strategies, diversity initiatives, consideration of compensation factors, and providing frequent status updates to all stakeholders.
  • Assure compliance with Federal and State regulations and Laboratory policies on recruitment and employment activities.
  • Participate in virtual and onsite career events, which may require travel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional job responsibilities at the H03.3 level

  • Develop complex recruiting strategies and conduct in-depth analysis for challenging areas.
  • Provide advanced subject matter expertise to internal, external, and peer groups.
  • Be responsible for ad hoc recruiting projects, peer training, and/or process improvement initiatives, making recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications
  • Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Experience with and understanding of full cycle recruiting for a variety of niche, hard-to-fill positions.
  • Experience using ATS and data analysis tools and experience conducting data analysis and metrics with the ability to drive business and behavioral changes with data.
  • Proven track record of delivering results while managing multiple requisitionsin an often fluid and ambiguous environment.
  • Knowledge of HR employment laws, federal/state regulations, and an understanding of HR systems, including applicant tracking systems
  • Strong verbal/written communication, excellent customer service, negotiating skills and the ability to effectively explain, advise and influence potential applicants and internal customers.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Additional qualifications at the H03.3 level

  • Experience developing complex strategies and performing in-depth recruiting analysis.
  • Advanced recruiting subject matter expertise and experience working with all levels of staff and applicants.
  • Experience with recruiting projects, training, and/or process improvement.

Security Clearance

This position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance.If you are selected, wewill initiate a Federal background investigation to determine if youmeet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter. Also, all L or Q cleared employees are subject to random drug testing. Q-level clearance requires U.S. citizenship.
