Hybrid Associate - Attorney Employment Litigation

Job Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to initial pleadings and argue motions in court.
• Defend depositions and represent clients in labor and employment law matters.
• Handle class action defense and PAGA matters.
• Provide legal advice to clients on a range of employment law issues.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to develop legal strategies.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an associate attorney.
• Strong academic background with excellent credentials.
• Exceptional writing and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to defend depositions.
• Proficiency in legal research and the ability to handle large volumes of work.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of California labor and employment laws.
• A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $185,000 - $225,000 per year.
• Paid Time Off (PTO), paid holidays including Juneteenth.
