About:
A distinguished law firm is seeking an accomplished Corporate Associate to join their Kansas City office. The well-established national law firm is comprised of over 22 offices and 1,000 employees worldwide.
The team focuses on corporate, M&A and securities practice advise corporations and financial institutions across the full spectrum of industry matters including public takeovers, private M&A, joint ventures, disposals, debt and equity capital markets, governance, general commercial and corporate advisory matters.
The role requires:
- A minimum of two years’ corporate/M&A transactions experience.
- Experience of working with acquisitions agreements and other documentation used in M&A and private equity transactions and proficiency in drafting.
- Experience advising on a wide range of corporate, joint venture and commercial transactions.
- Proven transaction management ability.
- Understanding of corporate and securities law matters, including M&A, SEC reporting matters, capital markets, corporate governance.
- Experience in developing client relationships and business development.
- Ability to provide excellent client service.
- Excellent academic background.
- Ability to develop and apply technical knowledge and professional skills.
