Salary: $90,000 - $130,000

Job Summary: The Spa Director will ideally have luxury hospitality experience (Forbes preferred) and will be responsible for directing, managing, and providing leadership and direction to the spa operations.
Director of Spa job duties include:
- Hire, train, and evaluate staff
- Direct overall day-to-day operations of the fitness, pool, and spa facilities
- Ensure all staff members consistently execute the Forbes Four-Star standards to create an exceptional guest experience
- Partner with the marketing team to maximize opportunities to drive occupancy and revenue
- Create and execute budgets, forecasts, and efficient scheduling
- Maintain proper inventory levels at all times
- Research new product lines, services, and treatments to improve offerings
- Create, train, and execute retail sales goals with the team
- Track all sales progress for monthly financial meetings to meet budget
- Continuous education on all products, treatments, and industry trends
- Perform daily walkthroughs of all spa and pool areas to ensure cleanliness, proper equipment functioning, and compliance with applicable health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Set goals, deadlines, and objectives for team and individual accountability
- Coordinate facility schedules to maximize usage and efficiency
- Minimize turnover with effective in-house onboarding, training, coaching, and precise performance expectations
- Maintain updated manual of Spa Standard Operating Procedures and ensure compliance
- Ensure licensing and certification requirements are met following local, state, and federal regulations
- Develop procedures for accurate inventory control and monitoring
- Merchandise spa retail areas to ensure staging maximizes buyer impact
Director of Spa Candidates must possess:
- 5+ years of spa management experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or casino
- A bachelor's degree and additional industry certifications and training are desired
- Exceptional computer skills
- Excellent communication skills and well-versed in the English language
- Outstanding interpersonal and guest service skills
- Available to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays
