What You’ll Do:

As a Business Development Manager, Data Services you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive and shape Nexxen’s global data licensing initiative, focusing on licensing Nexxen’s unique data assets including our ACR data capabilities to drive game-changing revenue growth. Your primary responsibilities include identifying, qualifying, pursuing and leading engagements with strategic data companies, agencies, and ad tech platforms globally. The desired candidate has an impressive track record of closing strategic partnership deals and experience selling to highly technical companies or personas. This role will be based in the New York office. Our team follows a hybrid schedule working in-office two days a week and remotely for the rest.

Each day can be different here at Nexxen, but some of the things you can expect to be doing daily are:

  1. Source, vet and negotiate new data licensing opportunities across agencies, brands, measurements companies and technology companies globally.
  2. Establish and nurture relationships with existing partners to drive adoption and grow revenue.
  3. Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities, ensuring accurate forecasting.
  4. Provide front line feedback from prospects and customers where improvements are required, or gaps are identified.
  5. Clearly demonstrate the strategic value of potential partnerships to key functional areas ensuring alignment.
  6. Keep a pulse on the industry trends and collaborate to define and shape market-leading partnerships and initiatives.
  7. Exemplify a culture characterized by a high level of performance and productivity.
  8. Work cross-functionally in an agile manner with an openness to experiment and iterate to encourage innovation.

What will I bring?

  1. BA/BS and 5+ years of proven successful track record of business development, strategic partnerships, or sourcing new business within the ad tech ecosystem.
  2. Demonstrated experience in data licensing and advertising technology, knowledge of CTV/OTT is preferred.
  3. Experience working with or selling into agencies is preferred.
  4. Having global experience working with partners.
  5. Ability to work with and understand complex advertising and marketing landscape and drive deep relationships with stakeholders to deliver results.
  6. Analytical, self-motivated, strategic and data-driven with a competitive drive to win in the market.
  7. Comfortable working cross-functionally to help drive business results.
  8. Strong internal and external communicator.
  9. Entrepreneurial and efficient.
  10. Customer centric; ability to translate problem statements into requirements.

In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role in New York is $120,000 - 125,000 at the time of posting. This role is eligible for a quarterly incentive opportunity. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
