We are Tribeca Cabinetry Inc., and we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team! We are located in Saddle Brook, NJ, where we assemble high-quality, semi-custom cabinetry for the building trades of the Eastern and Mid-Atlantic states. We are building an enthusiastic, hard-working, committed team and right now, we are looking for a new team member: Accountant.

Your Job Responsibilities Will Include:

  1. Answering accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
  2. Managing and reconciling all financial transactions (A/R, C/R, A/P, CD, payroll, cost of sales, etc.).
  3. Recommending financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
  4. Summarizing current financial status by collecting information & preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages (reports are currently created in Excel).
  5. Preparing balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
  6. Reconciling all general ledger accounts including inventory, WIP, direct and indirect labor, etc.
  7. Filing of the business corporate taxes (prepared by CPA firm).
  8. Filing of sales and use tax returns (prepared internally).
  9. Managing annual audits with CPA firm and insurance companies.
  10. Interpreting accounting data, analyzing reports, and recommending action to be taken.
  11. Preparing difficult journal entries, maintaining complex ledgers, reconciling, and analyzing specific cost account ledgers.
  12. Assisting in the development and installation of accounting systems, cost accounting methods, procedures, and controls.
  13. Preparing financial reports analyzing data for management review.
  14. Entering monthly journal entries to properly record accounting transactions, ensuring that journal entries have proper backup to substantiate the entry.
  15. Reviewing financial statements for operating trends and results.
  16. Consistently exercising independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  17. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Formal degree in accounting-related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Cost Accounting and Controlling is preferred.
  • Experience in Manufacturing is preferred.
  • Bi-Lingual Chinese-English (speak, read & write) a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial analysis is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems is preferred; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft programs is preferred; Excel experience required (knowledge of how to create, export, link, with Excel is required).
  • Solid working knowledge of QuickBooks required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
