Position: Human Resources Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team. This pivotal role will support our HR operations for national and international staff. The HR Manager will be responsible for managing payroll, benefits, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making, personalized employee engagement through one-on-one meetings, and timely responses to state notices and inquiries. This position requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to managing HR initiatives that support and drive our organizational goals.


Job Responsibilities


Employee Relations: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with employees to understand their needs, address concerns, and foster a positive working environment. Act as a mediator to resolve any employee conflicts.
Onboarding: Streamline onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the organization. Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee integration and engagement from day one.
Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations at the local, state, federal, and international levels. Ensure all HR practices are compliant and oversee the preparation and filing of required documents.
Data and Reporting: Leverage HR data to make informed decisions and improve HR policies and procedures. Generate and analyze reports on HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Global HR Management: Address the challenges of managing an international workforce, including understanding diverse cultural backgrounds, managing time zones, and ensuring global compliance.
State Notices and Inquiries: Respond timely to state notices and inquiries related to unemployment claims, benefits, and other state-specific employment issues.
Strategic HR Planning: Work closely with senior HR Director to align HR strategies with business goals. Participate in strategic planning and provide recommendations based on HR analytics and insights.
Payroll and Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations. Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans (401k), and other company-provided benefits, ensuring competitive and cost-effective offerings.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
Proven experience as an HR Leader, particularly in an organization with a large and diverse workforce, including international employees.
Strong understanding of payroll processes, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws at multiple levels.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building strong relationships across all levels of an organization.
Experience in managing a variety of HR functions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel for data analysis.
Human resources, recruiting, benefits, payroll, and or HRIS experience, preferably with 1099 and part-time employees.
Ability to effectively collaborate with team members.
Strong organization and problem-solving skills.

Salary and Benefits


Full-time salary $60,000-65,000
