Cargado, the first invite-only load board for cross-border Mexico freight, launched in April 2024 by freight industry veterans Matt Silver and Rylan Hawkins. Cargado's product simplifies the cross-border freight experience and has helped drive the historic rise of nearshoring and growing demand for improved cross-border logistics. About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Recruiter to own our full recruitment life-cycle on technical and non-technical roles. This role will report to the Head of Operations.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the entire recruitment cycle, from talent sourcing and interviews to onboarding top candidates.

  • Design and execute creative sourcing techniques to cultivate a robust talent pipeline for diverse positions.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to assess their staffing requirements and offer strategic advice throughout the recruitment journey.

  • Utilize data and analytics to refine and enhance recruitment methods and strategies continuously.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

  • Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.

  • Compile and deliver recruitment reports and insights to key stakeholders, including the leadership team.

  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all recruitment efforts.

About you

  • 4+ years of experience in recruitment with 1-2 years experience in an early-stage startup environment is required.

  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing passive talent and filling a variety of roles in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience recruiting for both technical and non-technical roles.

  • Bi-lingual in both English and Spanish is strongly preferred.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Understanding of talent acquisition metrics and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A strategic thinker with a passion for innovative recruiting solutions.

  • A willingness to work 2-3 days a week in our Wicker Park office.
