Title: Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET III) - W2 only

Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA (Hybrid)

Position Overview: As an SDET III, you will be responsible for creating and managing automated testing tools and frameworks. You'll work with various programming languages (like .NET and Java) to test software thoroughly. Your role involves running different types of tests (like unit and integration tests) and analyzing results to find and fix issues. You'll also handle ETL tests, using your PL/SQL skills and knowledge of data warehousing. Understanding healthcare standards and security practices is important. You'll work independently and help improve our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create and maintain automated test scripts for web, desktop, and mobile apps using tools like Selenium, Cypress, WebDriverIO, Appium, or Leapwork.
  2. Run automated tests, review the results, and suggest improvements.
  3. Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  4. Perform various types of testing, including unit, system, integration, regression, API, and data validation.
  5. Execute manual and automated tests, track performance, and report on findings.
  6. Conduct ETL tests and use your PL/SQL skills to handle data-related tasks.
  7. Write complex SQL queries and generate reports to troubleshoot data issues.
  8. Work with different teams to understand project requirements and contribute to creating detailed system requirements.
  9. Provide guidance and share best practices for test automation.
  10. Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings like sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
  11. Help plan and estimate testing tasks, monitor progress, and review QA work.
  12. Drive improvements in our testing processes and overall software quality.
  13. Review technical documents to ensure proper functionality and complete testing.
  14. Work with the security team to follow best practices and protect sensitive information.
  15. Check the technical setup for potential security issues.

Required Skills:
  1. Know about healthcare standards and data formats such as HL7, X12, NCPDP, and HIPAA.
  2. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  3. Overall 8+ years industry experience.
  4. 3+ years healthcare domain experience.
  5. Experience in building automated tests with tools like Selenium, Cypress, WebDriverIO, Appium, or Leapwork.
  6. Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or C#, and experience with .NET.
  7. Familiar with tools and frameworks like Postman, Eclipse, JUnit, Maven, Gradle, TestNG, and POI.
  8. Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and testing web, desktop, API, and mobile apps.
  9. Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
  10. Understanding of software development processes and version control systems like Git.
  11. Ability to create detailed test plans and cases.

Preferred Skills:
  1. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with teams.
  2. Willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
  3. Basic knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.
