As a key member of the human resource team, the HR Coordinator is responsible for administering human resources processes and providing front line human resources services for new hires, current employees, and existing employees. We are seeking a knowledgeable professional to support the human resources department in creating trusted partnerships through guidance and service. Core Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Human Resource team within all areas of Human Resources
    • Perform high volume, deadline driven HR transactions and administrative processes.
    • Process candidate paperwork
    • Onboarding: including setup and order of background checks, pre-employment drug screens, physicals, I-9 documentation, personnel documentation
    • Facilitates New Hire and Benefits orientation.
    • Provides support and assistance for HR related initiatives.
    • Ensure accurate tracking including affirmative action, employee data, motor vehicle records, etc.
    • Audit employee files and tracking documents
    • Field and respond to employee concerns, including policy and benefits.
    • Coordinates leave of absence paperwork and tracking to include FMLA, Military leave,
    • Process and initiate off-boarding.
    • Reviews and files the final submittal of corrective action, employee change status, offboarding, new hire request, PTO requests/calendar, attendance, and other forms as required.
    • Helps ensure compliance with all company, state, and federal guidelines.
    • Travel: This position is expected to travel in certain regions for 2 weeks at a time, could require frequent (50%+) overnight and extended out-of-town travel in others. The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2.
    • Additional responsibilities as identified and assigned
Education:
    • High School Diploma, or equivalent required, associate degree preferred
    • aPHR Certification preferred.
Experience:
    • Minimum of 1-year administrative experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite plus
    • Experience in NetSuite a plus.
    • Experience working in a construction or manufacturing environment is a plus.

$24 - $28 an hour

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance. There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
