Job Summary and Qualifications
CLINICAL CERTIFICATION WITH ACUTE CARE PROCEDURAL AREA EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED
The Clinical Resource Director is responsible for establishing and leading the supply expense agenda for the clinical resource management program for a hospital(s). The Clinical Resource Director is responsible for driving positive change through program definition and leading initiatives that support the health care organization's clinical expense agenda.
What you will do in this role includes:
- Develops and implements facility or division-based strategies and processes to reduce supply expense per adjusted admission.
- Identifies and implements supply expense margin improvement with a primary focus on high-cost departments.
- Identifies supply expense variances and develops action plans to mitigate increases.
- Participates in value analysis meetings.
- Utilizes clinical product value analysis committees to review products and technology.
- Builds relationships and increases customer satisfaction with hospital leadership and clinical directors.
- Collaborates with facility leadership and staff to implement continuous quality improvement processes.
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Health Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy, or other Allied Health Profession).
- Master’s degree highly preferred.
- Three to five years of value analysis/clinical/hospital leadership experience preferred.
- LPN/RN, Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), or similar credential preferred.
