Job Overview:
Clinical Supply Chain Planner supports programs and protocols, in tandem with program leads; packaging, labeling, shipment and drug return logistical activities by interacting with internal and external customers and suppliers in order to accomplish project objectives. He/She will help drive these objectives through system related activities such Interactive Response Technology (IRT) and forecasting. The planner will also manage and maintain IMP distribution and returns drug plans and manages Clinical Supplies Documentation associated with assigned program, to maintain GMP. The planner also monitors inventory levels and provides feedback to Program leads and their direct Clinical Supply Manager regarding expiry and re-supply. If required participates in Clinical Supplies group developmental initiatives, as assigned, and needed.
The clinical Supply Planner has exceptional communication skills, exposure and/or knowledge of programs including Microsoft Project, Power Point, MS Project, and Microsoft Office. Willingness to learn and sense of urgency to meet patient and program needs. Experience with cGMP and/or cGCP is a plus.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Supports manager with program objectives, which may include protocol budget, monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and strive to achieve relevant cost saving targets through system related platforms such as IRT and forecast/planning systems
Supports manager in maintaining collaborative relationships with Clinical Operations, Global planning, and vendors to assure the complete scope of planning
Skills:
Proficient knowledge of Smartsheets, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, etc)
Understanding of end to end clinical supply chain activity a plus
Experience with supply/demand forecasting systems a plus (eg. NSIDE, Bioclinica, 4G, Oracle, etc)
Experience with IRT systems a plus
Strong understanding of GxP a plus
Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to external environmental influences through identifying new strategies and tactics
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
Ability to multi-task and manage complex challenges
Education:
BS degree in Life Sciences, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering
Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience
