Job Summary

As a Data Scientist, you’ll be integral in extracting valuable insights from large amounts of raw data, finding patterns, and extracting valuable business insights, and will:

Role Overview

  • Algorithm Development:
    • Design and implement advanced data models and algorithms.
    • Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to support various business needs.
    • Continuously improve existing models based on evolving data sets and business requirements.
  • Data Analysis & Insights:
    • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to extract actionable insights.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for internal teams, especially for sales and operations.
  • Effectively communicate complex data concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with different teams (Sales, Engineering, Operations) to integrate data science into business processes.
  • Use data insights to drive sales strategies.
  • Analyze customer data to inform sales and marketing strategies.
  • Leverage data insights in client pitches and presentations.
  • Educate the sales team on leveraging data tools and insights.
  • Operational Support:
    • Work closely with the Data Operations team to ensure the smooth deployment of models.
    • Provide existing client support in the execution of campaigns and ad-hoc enhancements.
    • Monitor the performance of data science applications in production, making adjustments as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience as a data scientist or data analyst
  • 2+ years with Data mining
  • A clear understanding of machine learning and operations research
  • Exceptional technical writing skills
  • The ability to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way
  • Excellent attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in data science languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with SQL and database management.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and statistical analysis methods.
  • Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models.
