Job Requirements / Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Technical Support Analyst to provide critical technical assistance to warehouse users of information resources. This position involves resolving hardware and software issues, coordinating user technical training, and maintaining the information resources repository for user applications. The role also includes making recommendations for improvements in learning aids and tools, as well as enhancing user support capabilities.

This is a 3-month contract position with day shift hours from 6am to 4:30pm and night shift hours from 4:30pm to 6am.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and handheld scanner issues
  • Coordinate activities to support user training and assistance requests across all programs
  • Monitor support efforts and provide periodic assessment reports to management with status updates and recommendations for improvements
  • Collaborate with users and IT personnel to develop new approaches or alternatives for improving user support efficiency and effectiveness
  • Train users in new company-provided applications and assist with problem-solving for application issues
  • Maintain detailed records, logs, and reports of user assistance and technical support activities
  • Ensure network and PC preventive maintenance is conducted to maintain data and network integrity
  • Test new software applications and recommend purchases as required, while training technical staff on new tools
  • Develop and document operational procedures for the IT department
  • Install and manage network cables, ensuring proper cable management and organization
  • Configure and set up computers and printers in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Qualifications:

  • Two-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience providing technical support in a warehouse environment, including working with handheld scanners
  • Experience supporting WMS Software (Warehouse Management System)
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and operate with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
