The Federal Contracts Negotiator will primarily support CyberCore Technologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of HPI Federal LLC, which is itself a wholly-owned subsidiary of HP, Inc.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

The Federal Contracts Negotiator will be responsible for providing guidance for all aspects of pursuit, award and administration of engagements with the U.S. Government, the Defense Industrial Base, and other public and private sector customers. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in effectively resolving complex legal issues, including:

  • Ensuring compliance with:
    • The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and its various Supplements, including FAR Parts 12 and 15.
    • Procurement integrity laws and regulations.
    • Information technology laws, regulations and legislation, including requirements relating to Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and the Trade Agreements Act (TAA).
    • Export control laws and regulations.
  • Government-wide acquisition contracts (GWAC), including General Services Administration (GSA) schedules.
  • The systems and processes involved with the U.S. Government’s System for Award Management (SAM) and Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS).
  • Understanding key stakeholder needs and developing solutions for maximum impact.
  • Working with internal stakeholders and outside counsel to assess, quantitatively valuate, and resolve protests, contract disputes, claims/adjustments and government investigations.
  • Exercising independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives.
  • Contributing to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
  • Communicating effectively across functions, siloes and multiple management levels.
  • Leading or assisting with the resolution of contract disputes with existing customers, partners and vendors.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
  • Between 7-10 years of relevant contracts experience in federal government contracting;

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $110,700 to $180,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
