We are seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to work on water resources and resiliency projects in our Providence, RI office. This professional will lead and mentor a team of engineers and scientists to execute projects under the direction of a project manager and in collaboration with discipline experts.

Key Responsibilities
The Senior Climate Resilience Engineer will also serve as a senior professional to execute projects in the areas of climate and flood resiliency, green stormwater infrastructure, and ecological restoration. Additionally, they will serve as a technical resource and mentor for early career staff, independently manage tasks, and have flexible growth opportunities for project management, business development activities, or a combination of these skills.
This position will involve working on studies and planning, design and permitting, and construction administration for a range of water resources projects throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts for primarily municipal, government, and non-governmental organizations such as conservation districts and watershed associations.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Masters is a plus
- Typically requires at least 7 years of relevant design experience
- Rhode Island and/or Massachusetts PE registration required or the ability to acquire within 1 year
- CFM (Certified Floodplain Manager) a plus
- Relationships with/experience working with municipalities and state agencies desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal, writing and public engagement skills
- Experience using AutoCAD required; HydroCAD, HEC RAS or other hydrology and hydraulics modeling programs, and GIS is a plus
- Experience with environmental permitting processes and regulations preferred
