Position Overview

The Human Resources Admin will play a vital role in supporting HR functions across North America and globally. The primary focus will be on posting jobs for new roles, scheduling interviews, crafting offer letters, onboarding new hires, and entering and processing payroll . This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring efficient HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post job openings on relevant platforms, manage candidate communications, and close out filled positions.
  • Schedule interviews and manage interview logistics.
  • Draft and manage offer letters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including background checks, benefits enrollment, and completing required documentation.
  • Enter payroll data and process payroll runs accurately and on time, working closely with the HR Manager to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a resource for employee questions and provide HR support as needed.
  • Organize and maintain HR files and records in the HR database and SharePoint.
  • Assist with additional HR initiatives and projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, particularly in recruiting, payroll, onboarding, and compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP's), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • High level of urgency, responsiveness, and initiative, with strong critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and database systems.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and discretion when handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM and/or HRCI certification is a plus.
  • Experience with global payroll is preferred.

Work Conditions

This part-time role is based in the Duluth office two days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days. Office days may vary according to business needs. The position offers flexible hours, working 20-25 hours per week.
