The University of Illinois Chicago seeks exceptionally well-qualified candidates for our fellowship programs .

The following UIC fellowships will be participating in PPS:

  1. Infectious Diseases Fellowship (Director: Danziger) - training involves active participation in all components of ongoing clinical trials. The fellow will gain the skills necessary for employment in academia or clinical research departments. Coursework is provided in study design, data management, and the FDA drug approval process.
  2. Academia and Family Medicine Fellowship (Director: Elmes-Patel) - a two-year training program designed to develop independent researchers and clinician-educators that can lead high-impact research endeavors in a variety of teaching and learning and family medicine environments, with a focus on substance use disorder. Completion of the program enables the fellow to become a full-time faculty member and leader within health professions education, training, and clinical practice.
  3. Infectious Diseases Pharmacology Fellowship (Director: Bulman) – a two-year training program providing advanced training in antimicrobial pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), bacterial resistance, infectious diseases, translational pharmacology, and microbiology. Completion of the program will position the fellow for roles in academia, clinical research, or the pharmaceutical industry.
