If you are not satisfied with your current area of practice, and you have no prior estate planning experience, we have a training academy for your to attend in your first week of work. We will train you.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Attorney at Family Fortress Law Firm, LLC in O'Fallon, Illinois. We have a scheduling department and a processing department. The Attorney is responsible for reviewing the documents prepared by processing to ensure the client's instructions are followed and the final product is delivered to the client in timely manner. While remote work can be allowed on the rare day that no appointments are set, it is not encouraged. The processing department and Attorneys will work as a team and processing will often needs some advice. We have a unique payment structure which pays a starting associate salary, but includes supplemental pay (paid monthly) that results is partner-like earnings. You can expect to earn $3,000 to $6,000 extra each month.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association in Missouri
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail are required
- Must be a team player
- Prior experience in family law, estate planning, or other relevant legal areas is a plus
