This role will be responsible for managing all on-site activities for custom home construction projects. This role requires extensive experience in high-end construction, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure the highest standards of quality are met. The Superintendent will oversee all aspects of construction, from groundbreaking to final completion, and will work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure delivery.

They are seeking a seasoned Superintendent to oversee the construction of custom luxury residences.

Description

  • Lead the day-to-day operations on-site for luxury custom home construction projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage all construction activities, including site preparation, foundation, framing, interior finishes, and final inspections.
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality control, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and manage any issues or changes that arise during construction, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain a safe and organized job site, ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are followed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client during construction, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Oversee the procurement and scheduling of materials and labor to ensure timely delivery and installation.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to develop and execute construction schedules, including critical path milestones and deliverables.
  • Ensure all aspects of the home construction are executed to the highest level of craftsmanship, paying special attention to custom finishes, architectural details, and high-end materials.
  • Manage punch list items and ensure a flawless final product is delivered to the client.

Profile

  • Significant experience as a Superintendent in custom, luxury construction either in Residential or Commercial
  • Strong understanding of high-end construction processes, materials, and building codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing luxury residential projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project).
  • Ability to work closely with clients, ensuring their vision is executed to perfection.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to maintain a safe job site.
