In this role you will be responsible for supporting engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. To be considered for this role, you will have an Associate's Degree in a related discipline and 3 or more years of relevant experience. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US citizenship is required.Advanced Engineering Technician Job Duties:Interprets basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics.Constructs, modifies, debugs, troubleshoots, calibrates, tests and adjusts a variety of tools, equipment and systems.Conducts, analyzes and documents statistically based experiments to define process parameters.Implements and documents complex solutions for process improvement.Designs and constructs basic tooling and fixtures to accomplish unique tasks.Organizes, analyzes and interprets data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommends resolution/process improvement.KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:An Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.RF and analog test equipment experience to include: synthesizers, amplifiers, spectrum & network analyzers.Test meters (multi-meters, scope meters, clamp meters) experience.New Product and Existing Product Test Fixtures Experience.Calibration and repair of RF and analog test equipment.Video Experience: Encode and Decode Test.Running of Automated Script Process Experience.If you are interested in this Advanced Engineering Technician job in Irvine, CA please apply via the 'apply now' link provided.Belcan is a global supplier of engineering, technical recruiting, and IT services to customers in the aerospace, industrial, and government sectors.
