Job Summary
This position is responsible for strategic oversight and retention for enterprise national accounts. Serves as the primary point of contact for customers and is viewed as a trusted advisor. Develop an understanding of client business strategy and identify innovative product solutions to balance costs with long-term health strategy.
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years’ experience in Account Management, Insurance/Sales or Health Care field OR 10 years’ experience in Account Management, Insurance/Sales or Health Care field
- Experience must include at least 2 years as a Strategic Account Executive for key accounts, Manager, internal or external Consultant, or high level Sales Executive
- Current state agent insurance license or obtain within 90 days of starting in role
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships in complex accounts
- Sales negotiation and conflict management skills
- Knowledge of health care industry regulations, products, market trends and competitive landscape
- Analytical and presentation skills including producing and analyzing reports/data, developing presentations, and maintaining databases of sales activities
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
