Data Architect

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Data Architect to join our team in the NY/NJ area. The ideal candidate will excel in overseeing enterprise-level data architecture, data flows, and integration strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of data management practices, strong analytical skills, and the ability to design robust data solutions aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain enterprise data architecture strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Design and implement scalable data models and solutions to support business needs.

Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools for data management and analytics.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and propose solutions.

Define data standards and best practices to ensure data quality and integrity.

Lead data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies.

Optimize data integration and ensure seamless data flow across systems.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and management.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Enterprise Data Architect or similar role.

In-depth knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing principles.

Proficiency in data management tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, etc.).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional) a plus.

Experience in healthcare, finance, or insurance sectors is advantageous.
