Investment Specialist Assistant

Hours per Week: 35-40 Pay

Rate: $31 - $41/hr. depending on experience 

Step into a dynamic and diversified experience as an assistant investment specialist in our Financial Planning Practice. This role provides investment opportunities through a variety of different projects. 

Job Overview

  • Run illustrations and hypotheticals
  • Develop appropriate product deliverables
  • Actively run, review and communicate practice investment reports
  • Manage timelines and tracking for key calendar events (e.g. RMDs, tax filing deadlines, etc.)
  • Monitor economy, markets, and world events to determine any required strategic rebalancing
  • Provide and implement transaction/trade recommendations in compliance and Ameriprise firm standards
  • Assist the paraplanner(s), associate financial advisor(s) and advisor(s) with ongoing/quarterly portfolio analysis and portfolio management
  • Record all client follow-up appropriately (CRM and OFM)

Education and other designations:

  • College degree or higher or enrolled college student (Senior status, majoring in Business/Finance)
  • At least 1 year experience in investment or wealth brokerage services
  • Already have or be able to study for and pass exams for federal and state licenses and registrations for securities, including SIE, Series 7, Series 66, within 6 months of hire
