PrescriberPoint is a rapidly growing healthtech, incubated by BCG Digital Ventures and funded by Lilly, Pfizer, Master Card and Adobe. It’s a resource designed for U.S. healthcare professionals (HCPs) to streamline the process of prescribing medication, helping both HCPs and patients. The platform provides a wealth of information, including drug dosage, label details, drug interactions, coverage restrictions, prior authorization requirements, and patient affordability information. The platform also offers tools for collaboration, both within practices and with pharmaceutical representatives, and is incorporating AI functionality into its offerings.

Job Title: Product Manager - HCP Practice Platform

We are looking for an exceptional Product Manager who is passionate about delivering high-utility features in a platform that will dramatically improve the efficiency of health care practices when managing complex prescribing workflows.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  1. Work closely with a team of UX, technology, and marketing professionals to coordinate the design, development, and delivery of HCP-facing features in a highly agile, just-in-time environment.
  2. Construct a roadmap for new features aligned with business and product objectives, informing resource allocation, technology needs, and underlying risks and assumptions for remediation and validation.
  3. Document user stories, acceptance criteria, and direct the creation of supporting artifacts including research outputs, wireframes, prototypes, and other supporting documentation to ensure timely development and delivery.
  4. Validate work output so that it is of high-quality and meets the needs of the business, participating in regular reviews of work product for feedback and acceptance.
  5. Design and execute optimization experiments to minimize time-to-value for users, both qualitative experiments (usability testing, contextual research) and quantitative experiments (A/B, multivariate testing).
  6. Regularly review relevant product engagement and adoption analytics and revise roadmap priorities to reflect challenges and opportunities.
  7. Understand the competitive landscape and work closely with the CTO/Head of Product to identify and engage in partnership and integration opportunities.

Required Competencies

Business Acumen: Understands fundamental ROI modeling; can generally apply economic feasibility to features to justify business case (e.g. CAC to LTV); can top-down assess burn rates and associate against schedules to contain costs; can research competitors and understand external business models.

Collaboration: Ability to work with various engineering teams to understand project and business needs. Leads discussions on infrastructure selection and participates in knowledge sharing with developers. Works to ensure both DevOps and Engineering co-own SLA performance and incidents, working together to solve any issues that arise. Experience in helping tuning application and infrastructure performance with engineering. Works seamlessly with Marketing.

Communication: Professional outbound engagement with internal stakeholders, asks questions that generate discrete answers, communicates succinctly across mediums to ensure accurate, timely receipt of key messages and action items.

Documentation and Specification: Can write correct user stories that articulate the persona needs and value of a solution for a problem; writes acceptance criteria that are clearly enumerated and can be used by anyone to verify quality of outputs; provides demonstrative examples, prototypes, and other visual references to guide implementation; thinks with the end in mind - can articulate a roadmap for a feature or suite of features that has a clear vision and known assumptions.

Learning/Aptitude: Performs outside of the defined role to accomplish assigned tasks or projects, conducts inquiry beyond their subject matter expertise, seeks out mentorship or proteges, explores the "art of the possible", responds to feedback in a productive way (doesn't give feedback on feedback).

Project Management: Grasps agile concepts; can create a project plan based around objectives, timeline, and resource constraints; communicates risks and assumptions inherent in the plan; can make on-the-fly scoping decisions to keep projects on track.

Solution Design and Go to Market: Articulates objectives of a minimally viable product that allows for rapid iteration and cycle times to initial delivery; understands differences between product and sales-lead growth and can creatively identify ways to reduce time to value for users; understands the customer journey and can build acquisition, activation, and conversion funnels that map to features; collaborates with sales and marketing to design activities to build feature awareness advance adoption.

Qualifications

  1. 4+ years of product management experience, preferably in an environment where the primary user/customer were health care professionals.
  2. Experience in a startup, taking di novo products/features including e-commerce from MVP to revenue generation.
  3. A demonstrated understanding and execution of product-lead growth strategies, with proven market activation and acquisition.
  4. Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision making.
  5. Familiarity with common tools for product and delivery planning, roadmap development, analytics and reporting, and collaboration (JIRA, ProductBoard, Google Analytics, etc.).

Preferred

  1. Experience working with commercial pharmaceutical teams and navigating complicated regulatory and legal requirements, including FDA communication guidelines, including prescription drug advertising and promotion regulations.
  2. Demonstrated hands-on experience with software development management or user experience design.

Compensation

The base salary for this position ranges from $123,000 to $153,000 depending on geography and experience.
