What will you be doing?
Job Responsibilities
In this exciting and challenging role, you will have varying operational and financial responsibilities based on the business needs of the organization. In general, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Managing financial tasks per Circana protocols in an accurate and timely manner. Your tasks might include
- overseeing and entering requisitions into the Circana expense management system
- reconciling and assisting with getting invoices processed
- overseeing and configuring client revenue and billing into Circana’s revenue management system
- managing monthly accruals
- reporting of revenue
- monthly pipeline QCing
- Liaising and collaborating across functional teams at Circana (e.g., sales and delivery teams, Finance, Credit, Accounting and more) to address questions and eliminate bottlenecks to enable the Global Media & Analytics team to better engage with clients, maximize revenue and drive product innovation.
- Enhancing productivity by identifying inconsistencies, information and process gaps and subsequently developing collateral and/or processes that bridge these gaps helping to facilitate high performance across the Global Media & Analytics team.
- Providing CRM tool training and support as needed to the Global Media & Analytics commercial team to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Managing and supporting various internal initiatives and projects as needed.
- Serving as an internal expert and a primary contact on Circana’s financial/accounting operations processes.
- As part of this exciting role, you will also gain a strong understanding of Circana’s products and solutions.
Requirements
The successful candidate must possess the following:
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills with high attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (including pivots, vlookup, index match, macros, etc.) along with strong numeric skills. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM system preferred. PowerPoint experience a plus.
- Strong critical thinking skills, as well as strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Exemplary problem-solving skills and curiosity for data and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven, team environment, while also delivering independent results.
- Demonstrated ability towards success in working independently and with ambiguity.
- Self-motivation, a hunger to learn, taking ownership of projects and tasks, proactive behavior, team-centered versus individual approach to work, adaptable and flexible to support ever-changing business needs, ability to overcome obstacles successfully and keeping calm in a fast-paced environment will be critical to success.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field preferred, such as Business Administration or Accounting.
- Familiarity with Retail, General Merchandise and Consumer Packaged Goods preferred.

Location
This position can be located in the following area(s): Chicago, Illinois.
The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The salary range for this role is $35,000.00 - $65,000.00.
