Staff Psychiatrist

Insight Global is seeking a Staff Psychiatrist to join a prominent healthcare organization in Rusk, Texas. Reporting to the Director of Mental Health Services, this role involves delivering direct psychiatric care to offenders in outpatient facilities within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ).

*This role will require you to be located within the confines of a prison, jail or juvenile detention center. Security clearance is required; pre-employment drug testing is also required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :

• Must hold a current license to practice medicine by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners.
• Eligible for Board Certification in Psychiatry.
• Must hold a current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) controlled substances registration certification.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :

• Two (2) years of experience.
• Experience with digital medical utilization.

Salary is commensurate with years of relevant work experience.
