Lead Estimator

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Lead Estimator in Woodland Hills, CA to put together estimates and bids for underground piping, wastewater, pump stations, and public works projects throughout Southern California. This is a full-time, direct-hire position paying between $120,000 - $140,000/yr, plus benefits!

• Duties:Gathering quotes and prices from vendors and contractors
• Preparing estimates and bids for construction projects
• Communicating with clients and architects to understand project requirements
• Ensuring estimates meet project deadlines and budget constraints
• Reviewing project plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness
• Identifying potential risks and opportunities for cost savings
• Participating in project meetings and negotiations
• Maintaining accurate records of estimates, costs, and project changes
• Staying current with industry trends and changes in building codes and regulations
• Work closely with other team members to assist with estimates and bid accuracy

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of estimating experience in a similar industry
• Experience estimating on public works projects, working closely with local governments and agencies
• Proficient in HCSS Heavy Bid, ProContractor, Dirt Take-Off Software, and MS Office programs
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
