We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to be based in our New York office; this is a hybrid role with at least 3 days expected in-person.
This role will be responsible for helping to coordinate and execute our talent strategy and recruit for all manner of roles in North America, with particular emphasis on early and mid-career professionals. The individual works closely with other teams across the region to effectively attract and hire talent for the firm.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be part of the Human Resources/People team in North America. The individual will be responsible for organizing and implementing an efficient and effective talent acquisition strategy across all divisions and teams in North America, including financial and strategic communications specialties, digital, data and creative roles, and business operations functions including finance and IT. H/ She will work closely with HR business partners and key stakeholders across the business to understand, define and execute against hiring needs.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Work closely with the HR/People team to coordinate and execute a progressive talent acquisition strategy with a focus on attracting, developing, engaging and retaining diverse talent.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and team leads to understand staffing needs, develop and post job descriptions.
  • Serve as HR/People team point person and coordinator for the company's applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruiting resources.
  • Develop and execute employer brand initiatives across key internal and external platforms (LinkedIn, social channels, etc.) in close coordination with the HR/People and Marketing teams.
  • Screen resumes and participate in interviews as applicable to identify qualified candidates.
  • Design, coordinate and execute key elements of the recruitment process (scheduling interviews, written evaluations and other assessments, reference checks), ensuring a smooth and efficient candidate experience for internal hiring managers and teams, and candidates.
  • Provide timely communication and feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Build adaptable and team-specific processes to attract top talent into the firm, develop and advise on interview questions and evaluation methods specific to the needs of the role, team, and location.
  • Explore new sourcing strategies and tactics for identifying, engaging, and hiring the best talent, including use of recruiting trends like social media, artificial intelligence, automation, etc.
  • Serve as the organizational recruiting subject matter expert and continuously seek to enhance the talent acquisition experience for all stakeholders.
  • Work with HR/People team colleagues to ensure a smooth and elevated onboarding experience for newly hired employees.
  • Participate in Intern Program planning with focus on developing a talent pipeline and converting candidates into early-career roles.
  • Participate in job fairs and other recruitment events as needed.
  • Be able to clearly articulate FGS Global's value proposition as a company and employer and represent the firm internally and externally.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be an experienced recruiter with some broad-based HR experience, sound judgment and business acumen. The individual we seek will also possess the following:
  • 3-6 years of experience as a talent acquisition professional. Experience in a professional services firm preferred but not required.
  • Successful track record of implementing and executing recruiting and talent acquisition strategies for the full life cycle of hiring talent.
  • Demonstrated track record of personally assessing and recruiting talent. This individual must have a "nose for talent" - knows how to source, assess, recruit, and close candidates.
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system (Greenhouse preferred but not required) and other key recruiting platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Well-honed project management skills.
  • Strong communications skills, able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, external constituencies, and target candidates.
  • Must be passionate and able to lead in a "roll up your sleeves" manner that is people-centric, efficient, and collaborative.

EDUCATION
  • An undergraduate degree is required.

The base salary for this position in New York at the time of this posting may range from $85,000-$110,000 USD. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
