The University of Miami in Miami, FL is seeking a Database Analyst, Intermediate. Expected responsibilities include:
- Monitor and maintain existing medical databases, troubleshoot and resolve user issues.
- Design, install and configure new medical databases of type MySQL/Maria DB, MS SQL and Oracle.
- Provide and modify user access to databases, performing data loads, database restoring and other migrations.
- Create and maintain documentation of database server inventory, standard operating procedures, and other administrative team documentation.
- Improve skills in database administration by working with Sr. DBA, self-learning through online video tutorials, reading materials, and vendor training.
- Perform other related duties.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field and 2 years of relevant experience which must include hands-on experience working in Data Analytics or Database Administration.
