Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP and Health System policies for assigned entities.
- Perform accounting functions and ensure accurate recording of transactions while recommending improvements for efficiency and internal controls.
- Mentor and supervise accounting staff, providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and financial analysis of business transactions and clinical programs.
- Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, keeping management informed of relevant financial matters.
- Identify and research technical accounting issues, participate in departmental meetings and special projects, and support management reporting efforts.
- Supervise one Accountant, overseeing their performance and development.

Salary:
- Starting at $61,048, may increase based on work history/experience.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience required.
- Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience with Workday preferred.
